Health and the Law of Attraction: How your body reflects your state of mind!


Despite all our advances in medicine in recent years, we have not yet fully understood or addressed vibrational imbalance as the true cause of illness, and thus diseases have not stopped but only increased with our continued attention and focus on them.

We are still failing to understand this simple fact: Consciousness is primary, matter is secondary.

However, mainly due to socialisation, far too many people are still looking to address physical problems without understanding their own vibrational nature.  But you can’t truly separate out your physical component (body/mind) from the Non Physical aspects of Self.  The master understands this, which is why a true master will encourage you to look at your totality.

The science of yoga has long said that illness begins in the body long before it is seen physically. In Reiki healings, a trained practitioner will feel “hibiki” or energetic disturbances in the energy field of the client.  By treating these disturbances in the ‘field’, the disease heals.

When an unwanted illness finally appears it is an indicator that you have chronic thoughts that are out of alignment with your Source – and that you have been having them for some time.  You don’t have to necessarily think about a particular illness for it to show up in your body – that’s just an example of ‘linear’ thinking.

The body shows you the result of your negative thinking, repeated over a period of time.  Each time you repeat a negative thought or emotion, your body feels it… you call this ‘stress’.  If you meditate a lot, you will become more sensitive to it, instead of tuning it out.

Upon hearing this for the first time, the usual reaction that people have to this statement is ‘anger’.  Are you one of them?

Instead of feeling angry that you are somehow to blame, remember this is a simple truth. An observation. 

Many years ago, in the 70s, pioneer Louise Hay healed herself from cancer and went on to write a groundbreaking book called ‘You Can Heal Your Body.’ This was then re-written as the more complete ‘You Can Heal Your Life.


In this book, Louise gave a corresponding mental thought pattern for each illness that appears body — and, most importantly, an affirmation to heal it.  For example, warts are ‘old hurts’ appearing on the skin.

If your thumb is hurting, it represents the ‘details of life’, and you might say, ‘I am peaceful with the details of (my) life’ to heal it.  The index finger represents ego and fear, so the affirmation would be ‘I am secure.’  Headaches represent invalidating the Self – self-criticism is often to blame, as well as fear (fear of doing the wrong thing, for example).  Instead of taking a paracetamol to get rid fo the pain, try saying, ‘I love and approve of myself, I see myself and what i do with the eyes of love. i am safe.’

Do some daily self-analysis, with love.  Take the time to check in.  If your headache seems to be caused by external factors, like drinking too much alcohol and getting a hangover, ask yourself why you are drinking so much?

Illness exists because mental dis-ease exists first. This is a high metaphysical truth that must be pondered daily.  You cannot analyse it under the microscope of materialism.

If you are constantly caught up in negativity or struggle, this is a sure-fire sign that you are hindering your health and Well-being.

Most of us are born healthy, yet through prolonged exposure to negativity, we attract that which we do not want! Daily thoughts and actions that take you out of alignment with Well-Being lead to the manifestation of disease over time.

It can usually takes months, if not years, for disease to appear.  Then you go to the doctor and a diagnosis is made – which means you now have to overcome the illness and the chronic thoughts you have been thinking.

The good news is this: only a stream of unending Well-Being exists, not a stream of sickness, just as light exists and darkness is merely the absence of light.

Your physical body is self-sustaining and self-organising – and it wants to be well.  Truly the ‘field of intelligence’ within you has the capacity to heal you, no matter what is going on.

If you are facing a serious illness, the balance of your thought will most likely be tipped towards fear. Reading stories of spontaneous healings like those of Anita Moorjani and Louise Hay will surely help you gain a better vibrational foothold.

I also recommend doing some Vibrational work through meditation and/or yoga.
