Choice

The mind is like an elastic band. The more you pull, the more it stretches. The mind-elastic will never break. Every time you feel limitations, close your eyes and say to yourself, 'I am the Infinite,' and you will see what power you have.
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.
Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.
There is no such thing as failure. There are only results.
The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment.
The path to success is to take massive, determined action.
It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.

Loving the self, to me, begins with never ever criticizing ourselves for anything. Criticism locks us into the very pattern we are trying to change. Understanding and being gentle with ourselves helps us to move out of it. Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.
When people come to me with a problem, I don’t care what it is — poor health, lack of money, unfulfilling relationships, or stifled creativity—there is only one thing I ever work on, and that is LOVING THE SELF. No matter what the problem is, our experiences are just outer effects of inner thoughts. Even self-hatred is only hating a thought you have about yourself. You have a thought that says, “I’m a bad person.” This thought produces a feeling, and you buy into the feeling. However, if you don’t have the thought, you won’t have the [continue reading...]

It is [continue reading...]
If you have a strong desire for recovery, and doctors are giving you no hope, it is logical that you would turn to alternative approaches where hope is not only allowed but encouraged, for there is much evidence to show that people can recover from supposedly 'incurable' diseases.
Inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions
