This article is shared with permission from our friends at Dr. Axe. Is diet soda bad for you? Specifically, does it actually help you lose weight? Long story short, no. In fact, a Purdue researcher says public health officials should tell people to avoid diet soda much like they do with regular, sug...

Amber RaffertyCellulite is normal.. human beings are supposed to have it. It is not ugly, gross or something you "need" to get rid of... this is really egotistical and is breaking down fragile self image of the already confused and brainwashed population. Let people live in peace without having to pick themselves apart for not looking a certain way or for having bloody Cellulite.32 minutes ago

Patrick GravenWhen you become aware of your life, you may discover what it means to be human, to be present in every moment like a star that shines through the darkest night. To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own heart, and be a sun in the darkness, for that is when true stars shine brightest.11 hours ago · 1

Eighty-five percent of all samples tested positive for glyphosate and 62 percent for AMPA... this is seriously disturbing!
You might rightly ask why... and it's simple! The production of GM cotton has become very common, and GM is toxic for human health. No ifs, no buts... GM is just plain hazardous. A very low consciousness invention, designed for greedy profits, and not much else.

More and more people working in this digital age are at at risk of burning out - i.e. experiencing a combination of physical exhaustion and emotional anxiety - due to the constant pressure of having to be 'switched on' all the time for work...
Earlier this year, France passed legislation to give its workers the “right to disconnect”, but is it going to work? What are the pros and cons?
To lead a balanced life, enough physical and mental rest is crucial. As well, it's essential to creativity and productivity in the workplace.
We at Energy Therapy think it's definitely a good move to empower more mindful consideration of this pressing issue that affects millions but we strongly feel that more mindfulness teachings need to be given in the workplace (to both employees and employers alike), rather than enforcing top-down legislation.

"Today may there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are.
Let this knowledge settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love. It is there for each and every one of us."
Patrick GravenLife is the path, here and now, Be aware of your path, you don't know where it may lead but not knowing where you're going is what inspires you to travel it. For all of us, our lessons are our own pain and eventually our own pain brings about our peace and happiness. All that arises will soon pass, all that has passed will be replaced by something else that arises. The only thing that is real about your own life is each move you are making at this very moment, that’s all there ever is. Confine yourself to this moment, and make the best of it.
All things happen in their own time, life unfolds simply in the here and now. You can do absolutely nothing about the past, and you never know what the future will bring, all you can do is live for this moment. At times our thoughts are positive and other times our thoughts are negative, it's only natural, like the passing weather. Every thought comes and goes, maybe because of the changes of life, the seasons in cycle or the situations and circumstances that surround us. In a mind as clear as still water, even the ripples are reflecting its light, for we come through in waves.
All things and everyone belong to one whole, one constant flow called life. Being at peace is the concentration on everyday life for that is the only path. Think with your whole body and feel with your heart. Every single being every single day teaches you something equally as valuable as anybody else. To a wise being, the whole earth is open. The good of doing good is feeling good and thinking good, reflecting more of its own time and time again. The only strength is to be completely vulnerable, like water that flows through the hardships of life, in tranquil depths, there are no obstructions, only stillness. In stillness and clarity, we see.

Patrick GravenEach day we must do what is right, To stand up with courage and honesty to fight, To feel what we all feel and begin to write, To go into others darkness and become the light. We all should express ourselves with all of our emotion, To be ourselves and feel with depth of the ocean, To follow our passion and all of our desires, To be a spark that causes a flame to become a fire. Of all that grows, This I know.2 days ago · 2

"IN SLEEP you constantly move between the phases of dreamless sleep and the dream state.
Similarly, in wakefulness most people only shift between ordinary unconsciousness and deep unconsciousness.
What I call ordinary unconsciousness means being identified with your thought processes and emotions, your reactions, desires, and aversions.
It is most people’s normal state.
In that state, you are run by the egoic mind, and you are unaware of Being. It is a state not of acute pain or unhappiness but of an almost continuous low level of unease, discontent, boredom, or nervousness a kind of background static.
You may not realize this because it is so much a part of 'normal' living, just as you are not aware of a continuous low background noise, such as the hum of an air conditioner, until it stops. When it suddenly does stop, there is a sense of relief.
Many people use alcohol, drugs, sex, food, work, television, or even shopping as anesthetics in an unconscious attempt to remove the basic unease.
When this happens, an activity that might be very enjoyable if used in moderation becomes imbued with a compulsive or addictive quality, and all that is ever achieved through it is extremely short-lived symptom relief.
The unease of ordinary unconsciousness turns into the pain of deep unconsciousness a state of more acute and more obvious suffering or unhappiness when things 'go wrong,' when the ego is threatened or there is a major challenge, threat, or loss, real or imagined, in your life situation or conflict in a relationship.
It is an intensified version of ordinary unconsciousness, different from it not in kind but in degree."
