These words could be killing you
If you live from your ego, or small self, your best days will be average, or happiness will not last that long if you do happen to stumble across it. Your worst days are going to take you to hell and back – and then some!
If you will simply take the time to learn the art and science of living from your Inner Being, your best days will incredible and your worst days will be difficult but they won’t last.
So, this begs the obvious question, “how” do you live from your Inner Being?
There are many words for this Inner Being: ‘(Divine) Source’, ‘Spirit’, ‘God’ are just three… although the last is often a loaded term because so many people have inherited outdated, false beliefs about ‘God’, or better said, the true nature of the ONE life that is everywhere and nowhere simultaneously.
This world mostly trains you to be flat footed when, in fact, you are a multidimensional being with a depth that cannot be imagined by the rational mind alone. When you break free of your self-imposed cage, you will again breathe in the nectar of freedom that is your birthright.
Right now, you are suffocating… but you don’t even know it.
Answer these simple questions right now:
- How much joy do you feel in each moment?
- How much peace do you feel when you wake up?
- Do you like spending time alone?
Honest answers to these questions will give you an accurate indication of your inner state of ‘connection’ or ‘disconnection’.
The more disconnected you are, you will need to fill your life with stuff and ‘doing’ to find any sense of happiness – and it will be fleeting if you do.
The more disconnected you are, the more life will feel like a battle, and the more guarded you will feel around people in general.
If you hate spending time alone, then it’s highly likely that you will do everything you can to distract yourself from being in this state. Your mind will be restless and anxious all the time.
Do you find yourself saying any of these words?
“I don’t have time for [meditation/yoga/self-care]…”
“I’m far too busy…”
“I’ve got bills to pay, you know…”
“When I have (more) time…”
“When I have (more) money…”
“Show me the science.”
“There’s nothing wrong with ME.”
All of these statements (and more) are tricks of the mind to deceive itself.
There is no time but now.
The mind knows that letting the Inner Being in means it will no longer control the show.
The mind is ego. Ego is mind.
The mind will fight back because it doesn’t want to ‘die’.
5 minutes of meditation nets you huge rewards!
The way to reconnect with your Inner Being can be found through entering the ‘narrow gate’ that Jesus spoke of… it is an inner dimensions of consciousness accessed through meditation, where your awareness is drawn inwards. Yet don’t be fooled by this simple word. Meditation is hard for the egoic mind.
Meditation simply means that the mind becomes still and focused on one thing: the Divine within. Some teachers call a state of ‘no mind’ when you access the Inner Being through the narrow gate.
The result of mediating is cumulative – it cannot be achieved in one day, so don’t fool yourself.
Meditation is about adjusting the ‘rudder’ of your ship – but you need time (and space) to reach your destination!
Each day, you incrementally shift.
You navigate the “waves” of your own sea – turbulent or calm.
You were taught to follow reality long before you knew you actually create your own reality.
Any amount of time spent proving this law to yourself will show you the power of your own nature.
To master the “law” you have to master your own mind.
There is no “secret” really… it’s because you have forgotten Who You Really Are that this feels like a secret.
The best kept secret is the one staring you in the face every day. That’s why so few notice.
