Yoga Retreats

Can following a series of postures (or asanas) really change your life for the better? Can it really restore health and vitality? Can it really affect your consciousness? Come and experience the answer for yourself! Jen and Jaime's yoga retreats are ideal for beginners up to intermediate level. The focus is not about achieving a perfect posture, but exploring your body safely within your own limits for improved health and Well-Being.

Reiki First Degree | Reiki 1

As the pace of life continues to accelerate, it is even more imperative that we all learn to slow down and focus inwardly. Reiki promotes deep self-awareness and helps you to find a sense of balance and perspective, even when life presents challenges. Shoden, meaning "first teachings" in Japanese, is a 2 day course aimed at beginners to energy work. Reiki is a supportive, non-intrusive system of healing and helps each student to awaken to the power within himself or herself. Awaken to the power within you today.

Reiki Second Degree | Reiki 2

Reiki Second Degree (Okuden) brings students a deeper understanding of the Non-Physical energy that is Reiki as well as an increase in their own healing abilities. This is a course that takes Reiki First Degree students to practitioner level. It gives Reiki students unique tools to work with in their healing role, whether they are self-treating or working with clients. Heighten your intuition and deepen your understanding, awareness, and power on this two day course.

Spiritual Response Therapy Classes | Live as your Higher Self

The Retreat Workspace at Witherdens Hall

Witherdens Hall is located in Wingham. The Retreat Workspace provides an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere to learn in. Delicious, organic food, great ambience and attention to detail, along with unique course content and delivery all combine to make each experience truly unforgettable.

The Retreat Workspace has been especially selected for its high quality facilities, easy access from Central London, superb local amenities and and its peaceful location in Kent, known as the Garden of England. Witherdens Hall Retreat has a fantastic web site which really gives you a flavour of what you can expect when you attend.

Louise Cox, a former City investment analyst, director and fund manager runs Witherdens Hall. She is passionate about helping people achieve the full potential and has teamed up with Jaime, founder of Energy Therapy, to offer this highly-in-demand selection of energy healing courses.

The Retreat is well established and has been featured in Top 10 Holistic Weekend Escapes, Homes & Gardens, Top 5 Spa's for under £100, The Times' Body & Soul Escapes and named as The Queen of Retreats in Organic Places to Stay 2009.

Travelling from London

The journey to Canterbury West is just 55 minutes from St Pancras on the new Javelin service, which runs regularly. There is a 15 minute taxi ride from there to the venue. Arrangements can possibly be made to share taxi services with other students, depending on who is travelling down.

Accommodation

The Guest House at Witherdens Hall is rented out on a separate basis to the Workspace area. If students wish to stay on the grounds, early booking is essential! Energy Therapy recommends booking at least six weeks in advance.

Up to four persons can share the space together as there is a twin room, a double room and a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge area. If privacy is required, the twin room can easily be rented out individually (it is not mandatory to share!).

The Guest House is fully self-contained, having a delightful, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob for light preparation of meals (breakfast and dinner), a cosy lounge area with TV and DVD player and a good selection of spiritual books to unwind with at the end of each day. Please contact Louise Cox for pricing but expect to spend about £65 per person per night based on two people sharing for two nights. Prices may vary during peak times.

In addition, local B&Bs are numerous and competitively priced.

Retreats' Enrollment & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by a student

If a student cancels their place on a course more than 6 weeks before the start date, half their deposit will be refunded. For cancellations within 3 to 6 weeks before the course, the deposit will not be refunded but no further payment will be required; for cancellations less than 3 weeks before the start date, the full course fee is payable.

Cancellation made by Energy Therapy

Courses require a minimum of four students to run, up to a maximum of six (for SRT courses) and eight (for Reiki and Sound). Energy Therapy reserves the right to cancel any course. If a course is cancelled by Energy Therapy, students will have the option of a full refund or transfer of their deposit to a future course.

Fully booked courses

Students wishing to enrol on fully booked courses will be put on a waiting list and also have the option of registering early for the next available course.
